WE NEED A DRUMMER!

Location: Redwood City/Peninsula

We currently practice in Menlo Park at XMES, but we can travel within reason.

Commitment: Practice ~weekly, gigs a few times a year, recording sessions when we have new material

About Us:

What We’re Looking For:  

• A solid rock drummer with who can hit hard, hit softer, play fast, very fast but also slow down a bit    

• Comfortable playing energetic live shows in bars, clubs, and DIY spaces

• Open to rehearsing regularly and collaborating on new material  

• A team player with good chemistry  

How we operate:  

First of all, it has to be fun (of course). That said, we take practice seriously. We don’t really “just jam” very much. We come to practice with a plan. We work on writing songs after we have all listened to a demo. We iterate on it till we all like it. We also practice our existing material to keep it tight. While we’re all about having fun, we’re also focused on making the most of our rehearsal time.  

For the “tryout” process:

• Happy to talk on the phone or meet for a beer or coffee before we play together

• You’ll get recordings in advance—and we hope you will have a chance to familiarize yourself with some of them.  

• By the **2nd or 3rd practice**, we expect you to have a few songs down. We understand this means preparing outside of rehearsal time.

• We don’t want to spend entire rehearsals teaching you songs from scratch.

• We have some songs with rough charts, happy to share those or make new ones of help in any other way to help you get up to speed quickly outside of rehearsal time.
